Ma's Cookbook

Ginger Tea
A refreshing drink, especially as an addition to any Chinese dinner.

Ingredients

2 Thin slices of fresh ginger
1 cup Boiling water
Sugar to taste
Lemon juice for tang if you like it

Method

Steep fresh ginger slices in boiling hot water for 10 minutes.

Add approximately one teaspoon of sugar per cup of water.

Add lemon juice to your taste.

Serve hot, cold or iced.
